-- Bio: The musical story of Angus & Julia Stone began when they were children. Raised in the northern beaches of Sydney, music was an integral part of family life, with music as the bloodline through both their mother and father's families. Angus and Julia lived in an environment that encouraged expressing themselves through their voices and instruments. Eventually, the duo began to press up their own CDs to sell at local gigs, catching the attention of Australian alternative radio stations. The opportunity arose in 2006 for Angus & Julia to spend an extended time in London, UK where they started with sporadic acoustic nights that quickly developed into a way of life, turning into headlining gigs. They were also taken under the wing of Fran Healy, lead vocalist for Travis, who invited them to his house to play some demos, which eventually became a part of their debut ful! l length.
