FISHERMAN’S BLUES - 1986 REHEARSAL TAKE ON

Last
week was the twentieth anniversary of the classic Waterboys’ album
Fisherman’s Blues, and to mark the occasion we’ve uploaded to
our
myspace page a previously unheard rehearsal take of the title track,
recorded twenty minutes before the master version, complete with Mike

MIKE CO-WRITES TRACK ON NEW ALBUM BY NOVASTAR
Mike has co-written the song Miles on Almost Bangor, the new album
by
top Belgian band Novastar. Lead singer Joost Zweegers and Mike
collaborated on the lyrics for Miles. Almost Bangor was released in
late September by EMI Belgium and is available on iTunes. For more info

WATERBOYS MENTIONED IN NEW WEST END PLAY 'THE DREAMERS OF
INISHDARA'
The
Waterboys are mentioned in a new romantic comedy called which runs from
24 November to 13 December at the Jermyn Street Theatre, central
London. The play, set in Connemara, Ireland, and dealing with intrigues
between the Faery world and the material world, was written by Peter

Steve Wickham has just finiushed
a short tour of switzerland with his 'other' band, No Crows, and next week

heads off on a short Irish tour of his own, accompanied by Richard Naiff

Mike is busy
at home secretly working on music for the next Waterboys project.
